Our World Neighborhood Charter School

Learning Begins With Us

OWN Charter Schools are excellent places for young people to learn. Since our doors first opened, we have worked tirelessly to meet our goal of providing our diverse student body with an excellent education based on active inquiry, experiential learning, and social justice. We prepare our students to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners. I am so proud of the success and progress we have made so far, and no one is more aware than I of how integral the support and encouragement of the OWNCs community has been in helping us grow and improve each and every year

WHY OWNCS?

OWN Charter Schools are exceptional places for young people to learn and grow. Since opening our doors, we have been committed to providing our diverse student body with an outstanding education grounded in the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy—an approach that emphasizes active inquiry, global-mindedness, experiential learning, and social justice.

As an IB-affiliated school community, we prepare students to become independent thinkers, compassionate leaders, and lifelong learners. Through rigorous, concept-driven instruction and meaningful real-world connections, our students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and take ownership of their learning while developing a strong sense of responsibility to themselves and others.

I am incredibly proud of the progress and success we have achieved, and none of it would be possible without the unwavering support of the OWNCS community. Our families, educators, and partners play an integral role in helping our schools grow stronger each year.

THE OWNCS Schools

  • OWNCS is proud of all we have accomplished with our students, parents, and community since our school first opened in 2002. Together, we have established a culture of learning and academic success of which we can be proud.

I invite you to visit our schools during our Admissions Open Houses, where you can see the IB mission and learner profile brought to life. Across our elementary and middle school classrooms, faculty engage students in rich, hands-on learning experiences that foster curiosity, imagination, skill mastery, and a deep understanding of the world around them.
